Sanskrit: The language of the Gods!

Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, Tirupati.

Sanskrit is the most ancient language in the world and is considered a legacy that India has produced. It is the language of the Gods and enlightenment! The language is phonetically accurate and most scientific language of the world.
Just listening to a Shloka or a Mantra can lift up the spirits of a person and the constant chants in a temple make us feel inner peace and one with the Supreme. The words come out like beautiful pearls, spread an air of positivity around us and reach deep into our souls.

Out of all languages, only Sanskrit has the power to say something using the minimum amount of words. And at the same time, its vocabulary is vast. The same word has more synonyms than any other language in the world. For instance, the word elephant has 100 synonyms in this language.
This was the language of the learned and this language is the repository of knowledge and sciences documented during the ancient times in various fields of science and knowledge. The Sanskrit literature in the form of Vedas contain immense knowledge in every field possible; from body and mind control through Yoga Vigyan to science, technology and medicine like Ayurveda, Vastu, Vedic Science, and Maths etc.

So, learning Sanskrit means opening a wide field of possibilities. The study of Sanskrit has been declining with changing times which poses a threat to us. Not only do we lose our connection to our roots but also the vast knowledge of the ancient times which is still relevant and valid in present times.
